Our Horses allow people to find a sense of connection. There is a straightforward, easy-to-read quality to horses that is comforting. Our horses are not just incredible athletes, they are also nonjudgemental, dependable, caring and kind.

Tilly
Breed: Gypsy Vanner Age: 26 years old Owned by: Horses of Hope Oregon Tilly has blossomed into a true beauty at our therapeutic riding program. When she first arrived, she was a bit overweight, but now she’s in the best condition of her life, strong and healthy. Tilly’s favorite part of the day is her ground work sessions, where she enjoys being pampered with lots of brushing and the occasional braid in her luxurious mane and tail. She’s a true princess at heart, always loving the attention and affection she receives.
Ella
Breed: Appaloosa Age: 21 years old Owned by: Horse of Hope Oregon Ella is a lovely lady, soft coat and temperament. She has a slow and careful way with people, both when being ridden or doing ground work. Attention is her favorite treat!
Brewen
Breed: Fjord Age: 17 years old Owned by: Horses of Hope Oregon Brewen is not a large horse, but he is proof that big personality comes in smaller packages! He is a favorite for both his personality and coloring, and participants love his mohawk mane!
Rocco
Breed: Half linger Age: 21 years old Sorrel flaxen mane and tail. Owned by: Horses of Hope Oregon Rocco is a smaller guy but can hold a lot of weight. He enjoys trail rides, playing games and pushing the ball around.
Oakley
Breed: Palomino Quarter horse Age: 15 years old Owned by: Horses of Hope Oregon Oakley came from a history of being a cow horse and enjoying trails. He is a patient yet sensitive guy who loves a job.
Bodie
Breed: Palomino Age: 23 years old Owned by: Karen Avinelis Bodie is a steady eddy, trustworthy in about everything we put him in. He takes his sessions by stride enjoying every minute.
