THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP

Therapeutic Horsemanship offers a valuable experience for individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, who face various cognitive, emotional, physical, and developmental challenges, such as autism, PTSD, depression, and cerebral palsy. Each 30-minute private or 45-minute semi-private session is personalized to suit the needs of the rider. Our team creates lesson plans using a mix of activities and arena patterns designed to improve posture, focus, and provide a sense of achievement. Riders are supported by trained staff with a lead line, volunteers walking alongside them, and specially trained horses to ensure safety. Depending on the rider's abilities, they will learn to guide the horse and control its movement. These sessions help develop communication and decision-making skills.

In our therapeutic riding program, participants will have the opportunity to transition from leadline to an independent riding experience. Our schedule offers 45-minute semi-private sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, as well as 30-minute private sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings and all-day on Saturday's.
