Equine Facilitated Learning

Program Date: December 1, 2022

An experiential program with hands-on work, primarily partnering with the horse to learn more about oneself and develop life skills. Participants mainly work on the ground with the horses developing critical thinking skills through task-sequencing, decision-making and problem-solving. Participants will be learning to observe the actions of the horse and apply what they are seeing to their own life. The horse will mirror our emotions back to us, helping participants to gain essential life skills like communication, relational development and self-control.
